I love been a part this generation

Best thing I ever downloaded
I was skeptical that Microsoft would make anything "free" AND worthwhile. The Word App is. Sometimes I am on the go & have an idea that I want to write out (or an employee has a document that they want reviewed) - this allows me to do it. For years I was hoping someone would make something this simple (an App that works with my office Word). I'm glad Microsoft finally joined the mobile age.

Great app
I've never had a problem with this app on Android or Apple. Great app would totally recommend to anyone. I use it for school but it can be used for work or job interviews. Anything that needs done- word can do it. Only giving it 4 stars though because sometimes it can be a bit difficult to use.

Auto correct keeps adding entire words
Autocorrect needs to be fixed because it keeps messing up by adding the entire word after what I have already typed. For example, if I am typing "school" word will try to jump ahead and finish the word halfway, it will become "schooschool"

This app is not as streamlined as the embedded version that I used on my Microsoft Lumia prior to the discovery that Microsoft would stop supporting the cellphone version. I do find it difficult to focus the cursor on the middle of a word with this app and this leads to some frustration. Also, the deletion of a word sometimes causes the appearance of the first letter of said deleted word showing up on the right hand side of the cursor (so that it would have to be deleted again). I have not been using the app for very long so it's possible that these issues could be attributed to human error. However, the page numbering and spellcheck are appreciated features that I now find indispensable.

Cursor control in this app is terrible, it's infuriating to try and move the text cursor, the keyboard keeps hiding itself and you have to tap for ages to get it back. No other apps have this problem it's Microsofta changes that make this app a chore to use.
nice little document editor/viewer. however, it's not so little. this app takes up about 250mb storage space on my phone. that is 1/4 a gigabyte. this is the biggest app on my phone. maps comes in second, even with all the content i have downloaded. why microsoft? why?

Although i am still having keyboard issues, i still like the app. I thought maybe it was the compatibility with my phone, so i bought a new one. Im hoping it works better, because even after the update, i still had typing issues. Smh... But im still a fan. Hopefully we can figure this out.

To say that this app is buggy is an understatement, but it is MUCH better than Notebook or other word processing apps. It includes everything a writer needs from an Android Word app (especially Undo and Save commands, as well as the Microsoft Word dictionary), but I think only 75% of my time writing in Word is me actually writing. The other 25% is spent correcting the autocorrect on my LG G3. The compatibility is OK, but still has its quirks. However, with recent updates, you are at increased risk of data loss due to the fickle autosave feature (which, if it worked, I would not have lost 5+ pages of work).

I am so excited to have Word on my phone! I use it mostly to create lists that I need at different stores & it acts as a backup for my brain. I have a 10 month old baby & it's hard to keep things straight & organized & Word really helps me with that!

Clunky and awkward
Quite a few basic format customization options are missing or not available. Let's say you need line spacing of 1.3. This app only lets you choose 1.15 or 1.5. It is a very stripped down version of Word and there are other apps that are far superior in both form and function that are also free. On a positive note it syncs very cleanly with OneDrive and sharing documents in both .docX and PDF is easy. OK to use in a pinch but I would suggest another app if you're going to do a lot of mobile word processing.

This app has to potential to be great, but the annoying typing bugs where it uncontrollably delete words and formats work with out selecting it makes creating any form of professional word document difficult if not impossible. Needs a lot of work.

Easy to work, a bit slow
Need the dictionary to come up in an intuitive manner. The content in a table cell needs a better selection option.

Uh, how about telling us what the hell changed in this update? I KNOW it's a Microsoft app and I'm hip to the marketing verbiage, but COME ON! TELL ME WHAT CHANGED!!!

There may not be many bugs but there are still problems with it, there is no dedicated read mode unlike WPS Office, no way to add/remove/modify watermarks, and fonts are difficult to add unlike WPS Office
